The members of the CARPE JUS legal network set the course for the coming business year

The annual conference and general meeting of the European Lawyers Network CARPE JUS took place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from May 14, 2026, to May 17, 2026.
The host was the member firm Loos & Boukema Advocaten, led by its partner Erik Jan Loos.

CARPE JUS is a Europe-wide network of law firms that are leaders both in their respective countries of residence and in their respective areas of expertise.
The annual General Assembly—CARPE JUS is an association under Swiss law, registered in the Swiss Commercial Register—is part of a multi-day conference that allows members to engage in personal and professional cross-border exchanges beyond their formal participation in the association’s work and its organization. Dr. Andreas Huber has been President of the European Lawyers Network CARPE JUS since 2024. This year, too, the latest developments in the members’ jurisdictions were discussed, potential solutions explored, and extensive discussions held.

New to the membership is the law firm AK Janoušek from Prague, Czech Republic, with whom we have already successfully handled joint cases in the past year. Our colleague Dr. Jiří Janoušek has an excellent professional and personal network with relevant decision-makers well beyond the borders of the Czech Republic. The German-Speaking Desk, coordinated by Jan Míchal, is a professional—and personal—asset to the network and represents a valuable addition to our firm in providing tailored support to our clients in the Czech Republic.
